The B-series Hi-Flo [commonly referred as small tube] header is specifically designed for engines 1.6L-1.9L in displacement, while the Max-Flo [commonly referred to as big tube] header is ideal for high compression 1.8L and engines between 2.0L-2.2L. Each 4-2-2-1 Tri-Y version is two-piece with spring hinges and features innovative step-up exhaust tubing design, TIG-welded tubing and flanges, and true 2.5” exhaust collectors. Hi & Max Flo exhaust headers are slip-fit 2-piece and feature a 4-2-2-1 (Tri-Y) design using innovative stepped exhaust tubing.
Even though these titanium headers are based on existing designs, that’s where any similarities end. Each header is constructed out of 100% Grade 1 titanium, the purest form, which offers exceedingly greater amounts of attributes for, particularly, exhaust components and other high performance and racing products.
Each titanium header is handmade and hand TIG-welded. Considering, the expert skill and craftsmanship that goes into each unit ensures that each header is constructed the same way, each and every time. This consistency in production allows for proper fitment and seal against exhaust leaks.
Compared to each of its T304 twin, the titanium version is 58% lighter! 58% lighter!
