Blox Tuner Series B-series VTEC Camshafts

Blox Racing manufactures camshaft cores specifically tailored to B series engines. All camshafts are designed and manufactured using the latest software and casting technologies, then CNC-ground to precise tolerances and performance specifications. Each camshaft profile designed offers increased horsepower and torque across the entire RPM range. Blox Racing recommends upgrading to its high compression valves, heavy duty valve springs, and Titanium retainers on certain applications.

Tuner vs. Competition Series: Lift and duration specs are identical.The Tuner Series core is an OEM billet core while the Competition Series core is a Blox core cast with wider secondary lobes.Competition Series cores provide better valvetrain stability at the higher RPMs - normally associated with the demands of road racing.

Tuner Stage 1/2/3 camshafts: Stage 1 camshafts are ideal for stock to mild engine builds. Upgraded valve springs are required. Stage 2 camshafts are ideal for mild to highly modified engine builds. Upgraded valvetrain is required. Head porting is recommended. A Blox Racing intake manifold would be beneficial. Stage 3 camshafts are ideal for highly modified to full race engine builds, upgraded valvetrain, cylinder head machining and porting, high compression pistons and ECU tuning are all required for correct usage of this cam.

Tuner Type A/B/C camshafts: Type-A camshafts are ideal for stock to mild engine builds. Similar to CTR cams. Upgrading your valvetrain is not necessary, but is always recommended. Type-B camshafts are ideal for mild to highly modified engine builds. Upgraded valvetrain is required. Head porting is recommended. Blox Racing intake manifold would be beneficial. Type-C camshafts are ideal for highly modified to full race engine builds. Upgraded valvetrain, cylinder head machining and porting, high compression pistons and ECU tuning are all required for correct usage of this cam. Good for 11:5 and higher compression or bored/stroked motors.

Tuner HSL (high speed lift) camshafts:  ideal for mild to highly modified engine builds. Upgraded valvetrain is required. Head porting is recommended. A Blox Racing intake manifold would be beneficial. These cams have high lift making them suited for high RPM usage - more appropriate for racing than street use.

Tuner P1/P2 camshafts: P1 camshafts are ideal for stock to mild engine builds. Upgrading your valvetrain is not necessary, but is always recommended. These are good for both NA and forced induction applications. P2 camshafts are designed to optimize mid to top end horsepower and torque, providing peak power past factory redline. P2 camshafts are ideal for high compression street and race engines. Upgraded valvetrain is required.

Tuner Turbo camshafts: provide an ideal balance of lift and duration for bolt-on to medium build turbocharged engines, up to 20PSI. These cams are NOT designed for naturally aspirated motors. Upgraded valvetrain is highly recommended.
