TODA valve springs allow maximum lift while preventing valve float, which can occur under high rpm, high lift conditions. Their specific spring rate prevents damage to TODA camshafts, which may occur as a result of using valve springs that are too stiff.
Valve springs that are too stiff may also put additional stress on the timing belt and cause shredding and breakage. TODA valve springs are oval shaped, which increase load capacity by 20% and reduce weight by 15% compare with conventional round shaped valve springs.Compare to conventional round shape valve spring, you get 20% more valve lift with 15% reduction in weight.

Note: Most USDM 2003-06 RSX & 06-11 Civic Si K-series engines are single valve spring equipped and will need additional parts to complete the installation of this Toda dual valve spring set. Spring bases, retainers, and keepers from a dual valve spring K-series engine will be required. Single valve spring bases, keepers, and retainers are incompatible components with any K-series dual valve spring upgrade.
