1OS Stage 1 Kit uses Action's reinforced Steel Backed Copper Kevlar Organic friction material. This kit features a single diaphragm heavy-duty pressure plate all while maintaining an OEM-like pedal feel and a smooth engagement. This Copper Kevlar organic reinforced sprung kit is engineered for vehicles that range from stock to basic bolt-on cars. Like all of Action's sprung kits, the Stage 1 kit features our fully enclosed spring retainers to help protect your investment from any springs popping out which can cause catastrophic damage to your transmission or engine as seen with competitors.

After each kit is assembled, it goes through multiple quality checks before it is signed off by one of our lead engineers (50+ years combined experience).

 

Break-in Procedure
500 street miles / Keep RPMÕs under 4500, no more than half-throttle, no boost (if applicable)

Note: Purchasing the wrong type of clutch kit for your specific engine horsepower output can result in catastrophic clutch failure, damage to the transmission, and void warranty eligibility. Please use the chart below to help narrow down your Action Clutch kit choice.

Example: using a clutch kit with an unsprung disc on a stock/lightly modified powered engine that is street/daily driven can destroy the rivets holding the unsprung disc together. Unsprung discs/clutch kits are not designed for street/daily use or a constant on/off engagement environment. Similar to running a marathon in sandles vs. running shoes.
