Hybrid Racing Idle Air Assist Delete for K20/K24 Engines

Got an upgraded intake manifold or fuel rail on your K series and that big plastic idle air assist valve is right in the way? This Hybrid Racing delete kit gets rid of it. The idle air assist valve was designed to raise idle speed during cold starts to speed up engine warm-up. Once your coolant hits 160 degrees Fahrenheit, it stops doing anything useful and just sits there taking up space. A properly functioning IACV already handles idle control, so the air assist valve isn't doing anything the IACV isn't already doing. This kit includes everything to plug the two ports it leaves behind and blends in with the factory intake manifold finish for an OEM+ delete that doesn't detract from your build.

If you're running an aftermarket fuel rail on your RSX, TSX, EP3, or 8th gen Civic, you already know this valve is constantly in the way. It sits right where upgraded fuel rails want to go, and that hose running between the valve cover and intake manifold is an eyesore on a built engine bay. Deleting it cleans everything up and gives you the clearance you need for aftermarket components.

The kit includes a threaded coolant plug for the water neck or intake manifold where the factory coolant hose connects, and a rubber vacuum cap with clamp for the fitting on the intake manifold. Both ports get plugged cleanly without any fabrication.

Note: Depending on your specific engine and intake manifold, the kit installs into either the factory water outlet neck or the intake manifold. Check which location your idle air assist valve connects to before installing.
