Operating temperature 65℃ (stock 78℃) Full-open temperature 75℃ (stock 90℃). In high-powered Honda vehicles, water temperature and engine power are closely related. When the water temperature rises, the ECU takes countermeasures (correction MAP) to avoid danger, such as increasing fuel or retarding the ignition timing, and a rapid power drop begins.
This product sets the opening temperature (the temperature at which the main valve "starts to open") lower than the normal thermostat, and by circulating the coolant to the radiator earlier, it is possible to keep the water temperature at an ideal 75℃ to 85℃ at all times. This suppresses and prevents power drop, heat fade, and knocking, and makes it possible to extract the original engine power. It can be installed completely bolt-on from a normal radiator to racing cars such as those participating in Super Taikyu.
An essential part for high-powered Honda vehicles, regardless of the stage.
