Skunk2 Tuner Series Camshafts - H-series VTEC
Skunk2’s H-Series VTEC Tuner camshafts are based on the same proven profiles used on our B-Series camshafts. The Stage 1 and Stage 2 profiles are based off of camshaft profiles that were designed for Honda Prelude Pace Cars that we then modified to make more friendly for the street. New for 2007 is the introduction of the Turbo 1 and Turbo 2 camshafts that are optimized for engines running up to 8000rpm at 15psi of boost or less.
All of Skunk2's H-series cams are machined from high-strength chill cast billets using a Skunk2 proprietary iron alloy. The performance of our H camshafts is further improved when used with a Skunk2 intake manifold, valvetrain, and cam gears.
Stage 1 Specs:
Intake Centerline: 97° ATDC
Exhaust Centerline: 104° BTDC
Valve Clearance (Intake / Exhaust): .007” / .008”
RPM Range: 1,500 - 8,500 rpm
HP Gains: 10 - 15 hp
Torque Gains: 12 - 16 lb-ft
Stock valvetrain okay.
Recommended: Fuel pressure regulator and/or upgraded fuel injectors.
Stage 2 Specs:
Intake Centerline: 100° ATDC
Exhaust Centerline: 105° BTDC
Valve Clearance (Intake / Exhaust): .007” / .008”
RPM Range: 1,500 - 9,000 rpm
HP Gains: 15 - 20 hp
Torque Gains: 16 - 20 lb-ft
Required:Tuner Series Valve Springs & Titanium Retainers.
Recommended: Fuel pressure regulator and/or upgraded fuel injectors, VTEC controller, aftermarket ECU
